The national poet, the man who appears in school textbooks and in the names of major streets in every large city.

Through significant milestones in his life, we will examine the journey he made from Radim village in Ukraine, through the city of Odessa, to the heart of cultural activity in the Land of Israel.

We will get to know Bialik not only as a poet, but also as a public leader, editor, translator, revitalizer of the Hebrew language, and one of the architects of early Hebrew culture. We will discuss the complex relationship between the private individual and his national image, and the way his work continues and resonates to this day.

During the tour, we will stroll through his impressive home, which also tells the story of the first Hebrew city to rise from the sands. Among the colorful rooms of the house, we will meet Chaim Nahman anew—the man behind the symbol, the national poet.
