Night Birds - Family Tour

As darkness descends on the Birdwatching Park, the world of birds continues to bustle.

We invite you to join us for an hour of magic, during which we will experience together the “changing of the guard.” First, we will observe the daytime birds, many of them guests at the park during the peak of the autumn migration, as they gather to roost among the tree branches. October is the height of the migration season, during which millions of birds make their way south, stopping at the park to rest and replenish their strength.

As night falls, we will open our ears and eyes and turn our attention to the birds active after dark. We will listen to their calls, follow movements among the trees, and try to identify the species that become active once the other birds have gone to sleep.

The Birdwatching Park is a “green island” in the heart of the city and serves as an important stopover for birds during migration. The habitats restored at the Rosh Tzipor complex provide them with shelter and food sources, enabling them to stop safely along their journey. Alongside the migratory birds, the park is also home to species that choose to remain here throughout the winter.

A special birdwatching tour during the transition from day to night, when we will discover the world of birds as it changes pace.
