Yemeni music performance with Zion Golan and the Shirat HaDiwan ensemble, on September 2, 2026, at 8:00 PM at Nocturno Live in Jerusalem. From the sacred singing of Yemenite Jews.
An exciting evening featuring songs from the Diwan—the sacred poetry of Yemenite Jews. The evening will include the beloved singer Zion Golan and the “Diwan Songs” ensemble, a group of four young singers presenting Diwan songs in a new and refreshing way.
The songs performed will include works by Rabbi Shalom Shabazi, some of which have become timeless treasures of Israeli culture, such as “Ahavat Hadassah,” “Eilat Hen,” “Im Nin’alu,” and other beautiful songs from the Yemenite Diwan.

A special performance for the Teima Festival 2026. The festival is produced by the Association for the Advancement of Society and Culture, with the support of the Culture Department of the Jerusalem Municipality.
