Sixteen-year-old Assaf is asked to locate the owner of a dog found wandering the streets of Jerusalem. The dog leads him from place to place through the life story of Tamar, a lonely and tempestuous teenage girl who has embarked on a dangerous mission to save her brother, who has become entangled in a dark affair.
Someone to Run With, one of the most beloved books among readers in Israel and the winner of the 2001 Sapir Prize for Literature, has been adapted into a television series and a feature film. With the deft hand of a master, David Grossman created a coming-of-age journey that tells a one-of-a-kind first-love story.
