Descriptiontranslated from Hebrew (original)

Israel National Trail, Sections 55+56 – Judean Desert Campus 3 (Two Days)

On the first day, we will continue from the Arava Junction area via Peratzim Stream, the narrow canyon, and the Flour Cave. From there, we will take a short detour from the original trail in order to cross the Amiaz Plain, ascend Mount Sodom, and descend the beautiful Ma’ale Ha-Madregot to the new visitors’ center of the Dead Sea Works. This ending is significantly more scenic than the original trail.

On the second day, we will change direction and begin at the access road to the Small Crater, passing through the impressive Peres Pools, and cross the Hעתקים Escarpment Plateau to the top of Ma’ale Tzurim. From there, we will descend the steep slope to Neot HaKikar and conclude two wonderful days.
