
A hike on the Israel National Trail from the Ammonite Wall to the Nekarot Horseshoe, 12 km long. The route passes through Mount Saharonim and ends at Saharonim Khan.
From the Ammonite Wall to the “Nekarot Horseshoe,” Israel Trail
Section 67, from north to south. Starting point: Route 40. Ascend westward to Mount Agrayim and descend from it, back to Route 40. Walk west to Nahal Gvanim Campground, then climb Mount Sahran, from which you can view the wonders of the Ramon Crater. Descend from Mount Sahran to Nahal Nekarot. Walk through the famous “horseshoe” and ascend to the finish at Sahran Camp.
