
A hike on the Israel National Trail from Mitzpe Ramon to the Ammonite Wall, 18 km long. The route begins at the Mitzpe Ramon Visitor Center and ends at Route 40.
From Mitzpe Ramon to the Ammonite Wall, Section 66 from north to south on the Israel National Trail.
Starting point: Mitzpe Ramon Visitors Center
End point: Route 40, near the Ammonite Wall
From the Mitzpe Ramon Visitors Center, walk south along the promenade. Descend into the crater and cross it southeastward. Climb Mount Ramon’s Tooth and leave the crater toward Nahal Nekarot. Continue east, near the crater’s cliffs, to the Ammonite Wall. From there, exit to Route 40 near Mount Afor, the endpoint.
