Israel National Trail, Sections 33+34 – Judean Desert Campus 1 (Two days, including bus)

On the first day, we will descend from Arad through Nahal Domya, via ancient and more recent water cisterns. We will cross the Kfar Hanokdim road to the Asaf Lookout, and from there descend steeply through Upper Nahal Rahaf to Kfar Hanokdim. On the second day, we will hike to Tzephira Pool, enjoy views of the high and impressive waterfall, and walk above the deep, steep channel of Nahal Tze’elim. We will cross Nahal Anava and connect directly to the Masada West site, with a constant view of the Dead Sea.
