Creative studio for children aged 6 and over at the Liebling Haus in Tel Aviv. A two-hour activity with unique materials and tools, without parents present and accompanied by professionals.
Two hours in an open space for making, where we will develop and practice skills for independent creation using unique materials and tools, without parents present and accompanied by professionals from the fields of architecture, design, and art. During the creative process, thought processes take shape, understanding deepens, and we remain open to thinking, learning independently, and bringing our ideas to life, while staying curious about what is happening around us. Ages 6 and up.
We will experience creation as a tool through which we can explore and learn about the world. During the activity in the studio, we apply the pedagogy practiced at our school, the School of the City, which focuses on developing thinking processes through making and personal interest:
Roni Raviv graduated in art from the Multidisciplinary School of Art at Shenkar and holds a master’s degree in education and art from Goldsmiths University of London. She develops and teaches courses, workshops, and projects that aim to create an in-depth encounter between people and materials and enable independent, dynamic learning.
Michal David graduated from the Department of Architecture at Bezalel. She creates using sculpting and craft techniques, taking the urban space and environment into consideration, and believes in creative curiosity and surprising discoveries in materials.
Omer Sach graduated in art from the Multidisciplinary School of Art at Shenkar. He works in painting, sculpture, and printmaking. He has exhibited in a solo exhibition at Beit Liebling and in duo and group exhibitions at various galleries. He strives to develop in his students flexibility in practical and conceptual creative tools, in the transition between two-dimensional and three-dimensional work—and to enjoy the process along the way.
Yuli Maroz graduated from the Department of Industrial Design at Bezalel. She is the creator of the O peel brand, a designer, researcher, and developer of a line of thought through the disassembly and assembly of living materials such as fruit peels. She creates art and design objects with new value and teaches workshops.
