Daniel Kruglov and Friends’ jazz concert will take place at Mumi House in Gedera. The program includes improvisation, ballads, Latin American rhythms, and a trio.
Mumi House presents:
Daniel Kruglov — piano
Aya Korogodsky — flute
Neritan Topchiu — double bass
In this concert, musicians meet for whom virtuosity is not an end in itself, but a way to communicate with the audience more precisely and freely.
Daniel Kruglov combines academic precision, jazz freedom, powerful pianistic technique, and a deeply personal sense of phrasing. His style is built not on outward effect, but on control of sound, subtle work with dynamics, unexpected harmony, and the ability to change character instantly—from an almost weightless pianissimo to the dense, orchestral sound of a grand piano.
Improvisation holds a special place in his playing. For Daniel, it is not an inserted “jazz episode,” but a continuation of the musical thought. He can restructure the form, change the harmony, pick up a partner’s intonation, and turn a familiar theme into an entirely different story.
Alongside Daniel are flutist Aya Korogodsky and double bassist Neritan Topchiu. This is not a “soloist and accompaniment” format, but an ensemble of three independent voices, where each musician influences what happens in the next moment.
In this program, what matters is not only the notes, but also the sound, the pause, the breath, the risk, and the reaction to one another—the very feeling of a live concert that cannot be repeated in exactly the same way twice.
The program includes Chick Corea, Morricone, Piazzolla, jazz ballads, Latin American rhythms, improvisation, and music that can change shape right during the concert.
Admission: 100 shekels. Cash payment at the venue.
