This month in Beer Sheva

Beer Sheva’s events calendar features concerts, performances and stand-up comedy. The most prominent organiser is the city’s Kivunim Culture Company; many events are also held by the Tamuz Music House, Fringe Theatre and the Center for the Performing Arts.

Roughly one in eight events is in Russian, and well-known Russian-speaking artists sometimes go on tour here. There are also lectures, workshops and guided tours.

There are hardly any free events: admission is paid, and the price is listed on the event card. Roughly one in eight events is for children: children’s events.

Where to start: today’s events and the weekend — in Israel, that means Friday and Saturday. Everything is handpicked by volunteers, with no advertising or commercial interests.
