A lot of you have been writing to say you miss my listings and are looking for something similar. “Why look? Here I am,” as the quote goes.
This column doesn’t have a name yet, so let’s come up with one together — but no “pumpkin” or words from the same family, please. For now, the frontrunner is “Bad Afisha,” my homage to one of the best contemporary directors from the country of origin. Same idea here: this is my subjective take on the world. Don’t like it? Keep scrolling — there are plenty of other channels with event announcements.

Our all-time favorite teacher, Theo Spiro, is getting things moving to celebrate the start of the school year and the end of summer — a family picnic in Dubnov Park: Capture the Flag, Fox Hunt, clay for the little ones, and board games. Bring some snacks and we’ll make it a potluck table.
