A personal talk by Dean Miroshnikov about growth through crises, resilience, and choosing anew. The event will take place at Zappa Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv.
What do we do when life forces us to start over? How do we turn a crisis into a catalyst for growth rather than a full stop? And what truly defines us—what happened to us, or the choices we make afterward?
There are moments when life changes direction in an instant. Moving to a new country, an injury, loss, failure, or a personal crisis—any of these can become the end of the story, or the beginning of a new chapter.
In a personal, candid, and inspiring lecture, Dean Miroshnikov shares his life journey: from immigrating from Ukraine to Israel at the age of nine, through his service as a fighter in Shayetet 13 and the injury he sustained during his service, to coping with post-traumatic stress, choosing to reinvent himself, building a career in acting and television, and finding a way to turn pain into meaning.
Through personal stories, moving moments, and plenty of humor, the lecture explores emotional resilience, identity, belonging, coping with change, and the ability to choose again—even when reality does not choose for us.
This is a lecture that offers tools, hope, and inspiration to anyone standing at a crossroads, facing change, or looking for the courage to take the next step.
