A theater performance with an actress and a robotic rag doll at Tmuna Theater, Tel Aviv. The performance explores power relations and the identities we discover when confronted with different people.
A robotic fabric doll has been with the same therapist for five years, until one day the therapist raises her fee. The doll feels abandoned and embarks on a journey to understand her power relationships with others, the therapist, and various figures in her life. Encounters with different people draw different traits out of us: in an instant, when facing our parents, we become angry and accusatory, while in front of a work colleague, in a relationship, or with people with whom we are engaged in a covert competition, an entirely different person emerges.
The performance combines actors and a fabric doll based on a unique technological system incorporating sound, lighting, and movement.
