The play “Grandma Frida” will take place on October 3, 2026, at the Davay Theater in Tel Aviv. Almost wordless, with simple Hebrew.
In this performance, words are almost unnecessary, while light Hebrew plays in the background.
In a modest apartment lives a lonely old woman named Frida. Her only companion is a goldfish. Might it seem that she is bored? Not at all! Her everyday life turns into an exciting adventure: a roller coaster and a circus performance! While trying to sweep, she masters juggling; while replacing a light bulb, she performs acrobatic tricks; when she turns on the television, she finds herself in the animated world of the Frog Princess; and when she lies down to rest, the law of gravity seems to be canceled!
Yes, she lives alone in a small apartment. The performance is a whirlwind of jokes and joy, an immersion into the naive and charming world of Grandma Frida, who instantly wins the hearts of both young and adult viewers, leaving behind a feeling of joy and the aroma of popcorn!
