Tour of Tel Aviv’s synagogues with guide Gali Benin. Participants will learn about the history of the synagogues, Rabbi Kook’s reform, the Sephardic community, and the coexistence of secular life and religion. The program includes a visit to Tel Aviv’s first synagogue and other historic sites.

🚶 Together with our guide, Gali Benin, we will visit Tel Aviv’s first synagogue and talk about who prays there today.
📖 We will learn about Rabbi Kook’s reform and visit his favorite synagogue. We will also visit a Sephardic synagogue founded by Rabbi Uziel.
🌆 We will discuss how secular life and religion coexisted in the city more than a hundred years ago—and what the balance is like today.
