An art walk through Tel Aviv’s galleries will take place on September 4 at 10:00. Participants will get acquainted with contemporary Israeli art.
Art Gallery Walk is a leisurely introduction to contemporary Israeli art in the company of like-minded people.
We will walk around Tel Aviv and visit galleries that are easy to pass by without even suspecting what lies behind their doors. Painting and sculpture, photography, video art, digital art, and installations—our walk will include several completely different exhibitions and artistic worlds.
We will look, discuss, and explore: what is happening on Israel’s art scene today, what contemporary artists are talking about, which themes concern them, and why a work that initially seems strange can sometimes become much more interesting once you understand its context.
This walk is for anyone interested in art, without necessarily wanting to be an expert. All you need is curiosity and a desire to occasionally discover new doors in familiar Tel Aviv.
When: September 4 at 10:00
Cost: 60 shekels
