Films at the Comedy Festival: The Meaning of Life – Monty Python
Sunday (in 8 days)
October 18, 9:00 – 10:47 at night · 1h 47m
Summary
Screening of the film “Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life” on 18.10.2026 at 21:00 at the Sam Spiegel Cinema in Jerusalem. Surreal British comedy.
Descriptiontranslated from Hebrew (original)
The Monty Python troupe explores life and its various stages without a central plot or a single protagonist—from a tumultuous birth, through oppressive military education, to old age and death, ending in a funny capitalist farce. The Monty Python troupe’s humorous language has become a hallmark of British comedy, and even after more than 40 years, it still manages to make us cry with laughter.
