The Theater in the Open Space Festival invites you to a dance-theater performance for children and the whole family—an adaptation of the biblical story of Jonah and the whale.
Jonah receives a mission: to go to the people of Nineveh and ask them to change their ways and start anew. Jonah refuses the mission, flees to the port of Jaffa, and boards a ship that will take her as far away as possible. A great storm rocks the ship, and Jonah is forced to jump into the sea. A large whale swallows Jonah and saves her life—but how does she get out of the whale’s belly?
