Eli and Malchi are a young Hasidic couple who have just gotten married. On their way to the sheva brachot celebration, they are surprised to discover that their car has been stolen. At the insurance agency, Eli must choose whether to lie or preserve marital harmony.

Daniel, an Ethiopian-Israeli teenager, is about to celebrate his bar mitzvah with a barbecue in the courtyard of the housing project where he lives. Shortly before the slaughter, his father, Wartu, brings a lamb to be slaughtered according to the customs of their community. Daniel is embarrassed by his friends’ reaction and tries to get rid of the lamb by any means possible.
