Event Selichot with workshops, tours, and a performance by the Jaala band will take place on 15 September 2026 at the Tower of David Museum in Jerusalem. The event will begin at 20:45.
An evening of learning, creativity, movement, music, and inspiration, inviting us to think about what we are asking forgiveness for, what we want to leave behind, and what we want to take with us moving forward.

A movement workshop for body and soul, led by Batya Daniel, dancer and dance and movement teacher.

A conversation about sunrise and the works created in its wake, led by Ido Nitzan, lecturer and researcher, and Roni Eldad, poet and poetry editor.

Led by Dr. Noa Shakargy, poet, researcher, and editor of Ma’ale magazine.

✦ Guided Night Tour of the Museum Galleries
We will look at unique archaeological artifacts and think together about the concept of “forgiveness” from a 3,000-year perspective. Led by the guides of the Tower of David Museum of Jerusalem.
22:00 | Performance by the Ja’ala Piyyut Band Selichot in an authentic Eretz Israeli style—a moving live encounter with an ancient and deeply rooted tradition.
