The Theater in Space Festival is pleased to invite you to explore the place of the garden and the wall in two of the greatest texts about love.
In this study session, held in Bloomfield Garden opposite Jerusalem’s walls, we will return to the Song of Songs and Shakespeare’s play A Midsummer Night’s Dream, examining depictions of nature and the city, boundaries and boundlessness.
The surrounding landscape will engage in dialogue with the works we read.
Prof. Yair Lipshitz is a researcher of theater and Judaism and serves as head of the Department of Theater Arts at Tel Aviv University.
