New Year’s Adventures of Baba Yaga — Zero Theater

On the eve of the December holidays, the Zero Theatre invites you to the Big New Year’s Show!

Celebrating the New Year with the Zero Theatre has long been a cherished tradition for many Russian-speaking Israelis of all ages. Young and old theatre lovers surely remember with pleasure the wonderful New Year’s performances The Little Humpbacked Horse, Vasilisa the Beautiful, The Big New Year’s Carnival of Fairy Tales, and Morozko, where audiences were welcomed by Father Frost, his granddaughter Snegurochka, a huge sparkling Christmas tree, fun games, and a fireworks display of lively songs and audience-participation games involving everyone in the hall, young and old alike! In a word, it was everything that has remained forever in our childhood as a poignant echo of incomparable magic: “One, two, three—Christmas tree, shine!”

The theatre’s performers will put their whole hearts into giving all this to our children, with the help of the brightest character in Russian fairy tales—Baba Yaga! She is the main character in the interactive theatrical performance Baba Yaga’s New Year Adventures! You can look forward to a bright and funny show filled with miracles and transformations, numerous characters in magnificent costumes, and a “real” Winter Forest—a delightful theatrical set!

This is a true family celebration: the theatre’s production will delight both children and adults with its vibrancy, freshness, and wonderful atmosphere. It features plenty of music, dancing, and special effects, while the heroes’ fairy-tale adventures in the New Year’s Forest are presented with imagination and humor. And what amazing characters will appear before the audience!

Just imagine: Mowgli and Baloo, Pippi Longstocking, The Fly Tsokotukha, the Evil Spider and the Brave Little Mosquito, the residents of Teremok, the Three Little Pigs, Leopold and the cunning Mice, Kaa the Python, and many others! And bringing them together in exciting adventures in the Enchanted Forest will be everyone’s beloved fairy-tale character—Baba Yaga!

All this was conceived and brought to life in a bright and original theatrical production by Marina Belyavtseva and Oleg Rodovilskiy. The enchanting music in the style of Russian folk music, the most beautiful costumes, and the magnificent sets were created by A. Bar-Dov; the pyrotechnics and special effects are by Yasmin Rodovilskiy. Once again appearing on stage are the theatre’s beloved performers: Marina Belyavtseva, Sofya Shulman, Oleg Rodovilskiy, Anna Vinokur, Roman Dzhura, Anna Kordonskaya, and others.

All this guarantees that you will have the best New Year’s experience imaginable! And, of course, as is customary before the New Year—a magical gift for every child, presented directly by Father Frost!

So hurry for your tickets—the time is now! Judging by last year’s experience, all the halls were filled long before winter arrived!

See you at the New Year’s Celebration!
