Under the Open Sky

Nir Gurli and Maya Kosover, creators of some of Israel’s leading podcasts (“One Song” and “An Israeli Story” by Kan), will take us on a journey inspired by the songs and stories of Leah Goldberg.

Nature was always present in Leah Goldberg’s poetry. She observed the landscape and wrote through it about love and longing, loneliness, the passage of time, and the possibility of starting anew.

With sensitivity and rare presenting talent, Gurli and Kosover weave together pieces of history, archive material, and emotion, turning each meeting into a fascinating, vibrant, living journey. They will be joined onstage by singer-songwriter Yael Yager, who will offer live musical interpretations of the celebrated poet’s works.

Among “Ha’amnam,” “White Days,” “Long Ago,” and other beloved classics, we will follow Leah Goldberg into the fields, the light, and the landscape, rediscovering the works of the poet who knew how to find comfort and healing for the most human of emotions in nature.

Painting Time

When sunlight falls on the palm trees in the garden at different times of day, when the colorful roses are in full bloom, and when clouds of various shapes form in the sky… this is the time and place to bring out the artist within us.
