A film about Behiya, who spies at a brothel in Tiberias and becomes entangled in a case involving misinformation and a massacre. The screening will take place at the Opera House in Tel Aviv–Yafo.
Bahiya recruits two more women and attracts a loyal clientele. She serves them drinks, flirts and chats with them, while also secretly peeking and listening to what goes on in the bedrooms. She passes the information she gathers on to Gabriel. The women of Tiberias are horrified by the debauchery and denounce Bahiya as a traitor.
Hanan, one of the brothel workers, talks with a customer. He knows that Bahiya is listening to them and tells her about a terrorist gang planning to attack a Jewish neighborhood in southern Tiberias. A week later, the women of Tiberias mourn the massacre carried out in a Jewish neighborhood in the north of the city, contrary to the information that reached Bahiya. The women in the brothel hold their own lament for the murders committed by Jews in an Arab village as an act of retaliation.
Gabriel bursts into Bahiya’s room. He accuses her of deliberately giving him false information about the nature of the expected attack. Senior Haganah officials hold him responsible for the massacre and remove him from his position and from Tiberias. Gabriel promises Bahiya that he will return to take her away soon. She demands that he swear to her by her real name—Michal.
