A lecture on love, relationships, and marriage with Dr. Haim Shapira at Zappa Tel Aviv. It will address passion, jealousy, free love, and the other half.
Did Romeo really love Juliet? What is the difference between passion and love? What is free love according to Spinoza? Is love without jealousy possible?
An intriguing meeting with Dr. Haim Shapira, who will take us on an exploration of the institution of partnership and marriage in our world. In his lecture, Haim will discuss the idea of the “other half,” from the school of Plato; examine the overt and covert connections between Hollywood films and loneliness in the modern world; discuss the difference between love and sex; discover what the romantic moment in life is; and explore the marriage vow. Don’t miss it.
