A comedy play about Levia, who is celebrating her 92nd birthday, and a gift that sparks family quarrels. At the Cameri Theatre in Tel Aviv.
Leavia’s birthday celebrations take an unexpected turn when a gift sets off a chain of family arguments, leading her to make an extreme decision that changes the course of her life and the lives of those close to her. A smart, wild, and moving family comedy about parents, children, and the right to decide how to live—even at the age of 92.
Leavia, who was widowed only a year ago, celebrates her 92nd birthday surrounded by her family—and her nosy neighbor. But at that very moment, her only son, Doron, decides to surprise her with an original and controversial gift: a luxurious penthouse in the assisted-living facility near his home. The “gift” sets off a chain of family arguments, causing Leavia to make an extreme decision that changes the course of her life—and the lives of those close to her. A smart, wild, and moving family comedy about parents, children, and the right to decide how to live—even at the age of 92.
