A satirical show with surprises and the play “The End of Days” will take place on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at Gesher Theatre in Jaffa. The play begins at 21:00.
What do you do when the world is about to end? Celebrate, of course. For one evening, Theater Square will become an apocalyptic space whose sole purpose is to find closure together with life (in an uplifting way, not a depressing one). Before the show, there will be surprises worth arriving early for—and then a satirical performance that brings us face-to-face with a reality that isn’t all that far-fetched: an atomic bomb, the coming of the Messiah, pickles, and the Sabbath Queen. Not necessarily in that order.

When a real nuclear threat hangs in the air and the State of Israel counts down to its end, the government announces the last national rescue plan: mass, collective observance of the Sabbath, which will bring the Messiah—and with him, the end of days.
The state of emergency, the gravity of the moment, and the general panic take their toll. Everyone pitches in. Everyone except Yoel. In the midst of a midlife crisis, Yoel decides for the first time in his life to go against the current. This personal choice quickly spirals into a wild journey into the country’s identity-related innards—a journey that culminates with the fate of all humanity placed on his slender shoulders.
