The state of emergency, the gravity of the moment, and the general panic take their toll. Everyone mobilizes. Everyone except Yoel. In the midst of a midlife crisis, Yoel decides for the first time in his life to go against the tide. This personal choice quickly deteriorates into a wild journey through the country’s identity-conscious underbelly, culminating in the fate of all humanity being placed on his slender shoulders.
