The legendary play by Gesher Theatre returns to the stage after thirty years. The play is based on the work of Tom Stoppard, shifting the focus from the supporting characters in Hamlet to Rosencrantz and Guildenstern themselves. The performance is dedicated to the memory of Yevgeny Arye, founder of the theatre.

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are two minor characters in Shakespeare's Hamlet. Two good friends of the Danish prince from their school days who come to the palace to spy on him for the King—and pay a heavy price for it. The modern playwright Tom Stoppard turned this peripheral duo into the main protagonists. Through their eyes, we get a glimpse behind the scenes of the world's most famous tragedy, in a sharp modern play that is entirely a hymn to humanity and the art of theater.
The performance is dedicated to the memory of Evgeny Arye, founder and artistic director of the theater, who passed away this year.
