A satirical play about a residents’ meeting that deteriorates into a heated confrontation. The play takes place at the Cameri Theatre, Tel Aviv.
A residents’ meeting in an apartment building. On the agenda: renovating the bomb shelter, finding a solution to the problem of garbage bags at the entrance, and other matters of great importance to the building. As the meeting draws to a close, one of the apartment owners casually mentions that he intends to rent out his apartment to a person coping with a mental-health condition. “You mean a madman?” asks one of the residents. “No, a person coping with a mental-health condition.”
From this point on, the meeting spirals into a heated and impassioned confrontation between the residents. Accounts from the past rise to the surface, illegal balconies become a real threat, and somewhere—not clear where—a rat is roaming.
