A one-man show by Dvir Bandak at the Cameri Theatre in Tel Aviv. A boy makes a list to save his mother, and over the years discovers how the list saved him.
A solo performance by the Cameri Theatre in collaboration with Elad Theatre: Dvir Bandak portrays a child who makes a list to save his mother and discovers over the years how the list saved him. What begins as an innocent attempt to cope with a traumatic event becomes a wondrous way of looking at the world. A vibrant story full of humor and poetry that captured the hearts of audiences in London and is now being presented on an Israeli stage for the first time.
“I’m 7 years old. Mom is in the hospital. Dad says she did something stupid, that she can’t find a reason to go on living. So I take a piece of paper and a marker and write her a list—a list of all the good things, all the things worth living for:
- Ice cream
- Water fights
- Being allowed to stay up late
- The color yellow
- Things with stripes
- Roller coasters
- People falling”
