Narcissus, King of the Swamp — Shelanu Theater

This is the story of a frog king who lived in a swamp and was a kind and respected leader.

One day, the king fell ill, and the doctors concluded that he could be cured only if he smelled the fragrance of a flower. This marked the beginning of an expedition: the frogs set out in search of a flower willing to come to the swamp and help the king recover.

Many flowers received invitations, but each refused for its own reasons. Only the daffodil agreed to carry out this important mission. When the king breathed in the daffodil’s fragrance, he instantly recovered. In gratitude, the king removed his crown and said to the daffodil: “Thank you for your help! From today onward, you are the new king of the swamp.”

This musical and moving production explores important themes such as friendship, care for the environment, helping others, perseverance, and achieving success.
