A play about a mysterious wounded man in a hospital ward explores the traumas of the past. The production by the Kvutzat Avoda ensemble lasts 1 hour and 10 minutes.
A mysterious wounded man finds himself in a hospital room. Each new visitor only further complicates the story of his true identity and the circumstances that brought him to the ward. This original play explores how art, politics, and spirituality help us cope with the traumas of the past. An Israeli story about people striving to escape their own narrative, only to realize that they themselves are rewriting it.
“The Kvutzat Avoda Ensemble is an independent theater group that has existed for about ten years under the direction of director Igal Sacks and playwright Noam Gil. He is responsible for some of the most interesting plays to have emerged in recent years.” — Shai Bar-Yaakov, Yedioth Ahronoth
