A comedy play by Anat Gov at the Habima Theatre in Tel Aviv. A psychologist meets a mysterious patient who turns out to be God, suffering from deep depression.
A heavenly comedy by Anat Gov: Ella, a 42-year-old psychologist and single mother of a child on the autism spectrum, receives an urgent phone call from A., a mysterious patient desperate for an immediate appointment. When he arrives, it becomes clear that the patient is none other than God—the Creator of the World himself—who is suffering from deep depression, and Ella is the only one who can redeem him.
Anat Gov’s intelligent and moving comedy, by one of Israel’s greatest playwrights, offers a humane and compassionate perspective on the challenging reality life brings, and on the decrees of fate that God—oh God—rains down upon us.
