An entertaining comedy about a 70-year-old moshav resident who sets out to save her son’s marriage. The play is at the Cameri Theatre, Tel Aviv.
A moving comedy about Razia, a 70-year-old moshav resident whose greatest wish is to have another grandchild or two. She sets out to save her son’s marriage after he leaves home following a bitter argument with his wife. She drags her husband, Yitzhakle, along on a madcap journey of two innocent moshav residents in the big city. She is neither particularly healthy nor particularly young, but her maternal concern gives her strength she never knew she possessed.
The new comedy, written by Gur Koren (“Romeo and Mom” and “Don’t Fight”), sets a woman who simply wants to see her family happy on a collision course with her children—the younger generation, to whom the world may belong, but who may not be sure what to do with it.
