A culinary tasting tour takes place every Friday morning at the Levinsky Market in Tel Aviv. The tour lasts about three hours and includes tastings and a guided tour in Neve Tzedek.
It is no coincidence that the American magazine Condé Nast Traveler named Levinsky Market in Tel Aviv one of the leading markets in the world. This small market, located in southern Tel Aviv, brings together some of Israel’s rarest delicatessens and stalls.
Established by immigrants from the Balkans, the market preserves lost flavors brought by immigrants from Turkey, Thessaloniki, and Bulgaria, offering an authentic and exciting culinary experience. You will find fresh spices ground that very morning, with vibrant colors and the aromas of Shabbat; dishes with “the taste of yesteryear”; and nostalgic tastings prepared according to the same old family recipe passed down through generations. Young restaurants run by chefs who fell in love with Levinsky have also created a local fusion menu combining old and new, East and West.
Join us for a mesmerizing tasting tour along the old street that has become Tel Aviv’s chicest and hottest culinary pedestrian mall.
The tour takes place every Friday, lasts approximately three hours, and is held in the morning.
