Mat Pilates class for postpartum women with babies up to crawling age, on Wednesdays at 11:00 at Bikkurim Ha’itim in Tel Aviv. Suitable from 6 weeks after giving birth.
Pilates for postpartum women with their babies (from birth to crawling) at the Somatic Movement Studio, Bikurei HaItim, 4th floor | 2 Leonardo da Vinci Street, Tel Aviv.
The classes are taught by experienced instructors specializing in working with women during pregnancy and after childbirth.
Sundays | 12:00 | Led by Shira Ben-Uriel.
Wednesdays | 11:00 | Led by Gali Matis.
The postpartum recovery period is an opportunity to return to movement gradually, safely, and in an adapted manner. The class combines principles from Pilates, somatic movement, and physiotherapy, focusing on strengthening the core and pelvic-floor muscles, improving posture, returning to daily functioning, and rebuilding a sense of confidence in the body.
You may come with your baby and exercise in a pleasant, professional, and supportive atmosphere, together with other mothers. The classes take place in small groups and are adapted to different levels and to the changing needs of each participant.
The Somatic Studio is managed by Tal Ben-Ari, a certified physiotherapist. When necessary, professional physiotherapy support can also be incorporated as part of the studio’s therapeutic framework.
Joining is recommended from six weeks after childbirth, after completion of the postpartum recovery period and with the approval of a doctor or gynecologist.
The classes take place at the Somatic Movement Studio, 4th floor, to the left of the elevator.
You may bring your stroller and leave it either inside the studio next to the mat or in the corridor.
If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration to make room for other mothers on the waiting list.
Limited to 8 participants.
You may attend additional classes at the Somatic Studio, such as mat Pilates, functional training, and dance classes.
