Fashion design class for girls and boys in grades 4–6, on Wednesdays from October to July at Beit Barakat. We will learn to design, sew, and create clothes.
Fashion Design Course for Girls and Boys
There are clothes we look for but cannot find, perhaps because they have not yet been designed by us. In the fashion design course, we will learn to turn ideas into clothes we would like to wear—ones that we will illustrate, design, cut, and sew ourselves.
In a weekly session, we will explore the world of fashion design through illustration, sewing, embroidery, textile printing, dyeing, and working with various materials. We will learn to identify sources of inspiration, develop a personal design language, and create original garments—from the first idea to the finished piece.
Throughout the year, we will work with curiosity, creative freedom, and collaboration. At the end of the year, we will present our designs in a festive fashion show and an exhibition for parents and friends.
I am excited to meet the new designers who will join the Fashion Design Course at Beit Barakat. See you in the studio.
Instructor: Rani Yifrah
A fashion designer, Shenkar graduate, and founder of the Fashion Design Course at Beit Barakat. She works in the development and production of fashion and textile products, and has accompanied the younger generation in the world of fashion design over the years, with an emphasis on developing skills, a personal style, and self-expression.
A trial lesson is available for 30 shekels. For more information, please contact us by phone.
The course will take place on Wednesdays from October through July. For your convenience, payment can be divided into installments of 250 shekels per month, or paid in advance for the entire year.
