A walk through Florentin with Breton buckwheat crêpes — September 29, 16:30–19:30, Tel Aviv. Registration is required.
September 29, 16:30–19:30 — On this short working day, I invite you to take a walk through Florentin, the Tel Aviv neighborhood where I spent the best three years of my life, and enjoy Breton buckwheat crêpes.
Tel Aviv’s most bohemian neighborhood is especially convenient to explore and observe on a weekday: the bars are not crowded, the streets have only a light aroma of weed, and there are no group tours as there are on Thursdays and Fridays. This means we’ll be able to admire all the famous graffiti and murals without disturbing anyone.
During the break, I’ll suggest having dinner consisting of authentic Breton savory buckwheat crêpes with a variety of fillings (!) and washing them down with “that very cider” from the famous cider house. I’ll provide the crêpe menu in advance!
The walk begins and ends at the entrance to Hatachana Compound, where there is a large, inexpensive parking lot and which can be reached by Tel Aviv’s new light rail (Elifelet station).
