The organizer invites guests to an event focused on preparing fresh handmade pasta and enjoying good company. Together, participants will knead dough, craft fettuccine and tortellini, and then cook them at a shared table. Designed to foster community among reservists, no culinary experience is required.
Handmade Pasta Workshop for Tel Aviv-Yafo Reserve Service Members
Following the first meeting, we continue to create a community space for the city’s reserve service members, this time centered around making fresh handmade pasta.
During the workshop, we will knead dough, prepare fettuccine and tortellini, cook together, and sit down for a shared meal.
The workshop is open to both those who participated in the previous meeting and new participants. No prior experience is needed, just curiosity, a desire to cook together, and an appetite.
If you are looking for an evening of shared activity, good food, and the opportunity to meet additional reserve service members from the city, we would be delighted to welcome you around the table.
We will create a pleasant moment of collaboration, connection, and shared dining.
About the Instructor: Raz Kramer
Raz Kramer, a social worker (degrees from Sapir College and Ben-Gurion University) and graduate of the Danon Culinary Excellence School:
“I first encountered the healing qualities of food and the kitchen during a crisis when a family member faced a significant psychological challenge that led us all into a shared process. When things were difficult, I would go to the kitchen. Like magic, the aromas and sounds would bring our household into one space where each person had a place, a role, and a sense of capability.”
