Dr. Mordechai Yushkovsky, a literature lecturer specializing in Yiddish culture and folklore, will devote the session to the changes undergone by the Jewish family unit over the past 150 years: changes in women’s status, intergenerational relations, secularization, immigration, intermarriage, and more.
