Dr. Mordechai Yushkovsky, a lecturer in literature specializing in Yiddish culture and folklore, will devote the session to the changes experienced by the Jewish family unit over the past 150 years: changes in women’s status, relations between generations, secularization, immigration, intermarriage, and more.
