Dilemmas in the Jewish Family Through the Lens of Yiddish Culture — Mordechai Yushkovsky, a literature lecturer specializing in Yiddish culture and folklore, will dedicate the session to the changes experienced by the Jewish family unit over the past 150 years: changes in women’s status, intergenerational relations, secularization, immigration, intermarriage, and more.
