Against the backdrop of the days of the Inquisition, persecution, and the complex lives of the conversos of Spain and Portugal, an inspiring story unfolds about a brave and visionary woman who worked to save persecuted Jews and dedicated her life to the future of her people.
The play combines songs by four pioneering female poets of the Jewish people and the State of Israel, alongside moving Ladino songs, stories, and movement.
An Israeli family relocates to Portugal, and the past of the conversos of Spain begins to penetrate their world.
