October is the peak of the migration season. Millions of birds make their way south, stopping here along the journey to rest and gather strength. On the tour, we will get to know the migrating birds and the first species arriving to spend the winter here. We will head out into the field with binoculars and field guides and closely observe the birds flying overhead and staying in the park.

The Birdwatching Park is a “green island” in the heart of the city, serving as an important stopover for birds during migration. The habitats restored at the “Rosh Tzipor” complex provide them with shelter and food sources, allowing them to stop safely along their route. It is also a rich environment for species that choose to remain here during the winter. The tour will allow us to observe the transitional season up close and discover the world of birds that exists alongside the city.

Participants will receive field guides as a gift and binoculars for the tour.
