A three-day family vacation in the Lower Galilee, October 1–3, 2026, with nature trails, springs, a night safari, and activities for the whole family.

You are invited to enjoy a family vacation in the heart of the Lower Galilee, combining the area’s finest experiences: spectacular nature trails, refreshing springs, impressive scenic viewpoints, an encounter with Druze culture, and special evening activities for the whole family. Between the Horns of Hattin, Nahal Tzalmon, and Ein Nun, we will enjoy three days of nature, scenery, and quality time together in a pleasant Galilean atmosphere.
12:00 – Meeting at Nabi Shu’ayb, leaving vehicles there, and setting out on the trail at the Horns of Hattin.
13:00–15:00 – Hike along the Horns of Hattin trail, featuring open Galilee landscapes, sweeping viewpoints, and an area rich in history and nature, ending at Nabi Shu’ayb.
15:30 – Tour of the tomb complex and introduction to the story of the Druze community and local tradition.
We will then continue to HaHamisha Spring in Shadmot Dvora for a short break and refreshment in Galilean nature.
18:00 – Arrival at Alon Tavor Field School, receiving rooms, and settling in.
19:00 – Dinner.
20:00 – Night safari in the Beit Keshet hills, an evening activity in the Galilee’s open nature.
07:30 – Breakfast and collection of a packed lunch.
09:30 – Departure for a day of hiking in the renovated Nahal Tzalmon and Ein Nun, a pleasant Galilean route combining flowing water, easy walking, natural vegetation, and refreshing spots at the springs.
17:00 – Return to the field school and free time to rest.
19:00 – Dinner.
20:00 – ODT activity on the field school lawns, an experiential and enjoyable activity for the whole family in an evening atmosphere.
08:00–09:00 – Breakfast.
09:00–10:00 – Advice about routes in the Galilee and Valleys region, provided by Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel guides.
10:00 – Returning the keys and vacating the rooms.
Please note: A minimum of two adults must be paid for per room.

The activity will take place only if the minimum number of participants is reached. Notification will be sent up to one week before the activity.
