A three-day family vacation for the Sukkot holiday in the Galilee, September 25–27, 2026, with hikes, springs, and activities at Alon Tavor Field School.

You are invited to break out of your routine and head into the open spaces of the Lower Galilee to celebrate Sukkot in the most special way—among clear springs, nature trails, breathtaking viewpoints, and family activities under the open sky 2047/2048.
During the vacation, we will hike along streams and visit springs, enjoy activity-filled evenings in a pleasant Galilean atmosphere, and experience the Sukkot holiday through walking, scenery, and nature. Three days of shared experiences, fresh air, and quality family time in one of the most beautiful regions in Israel.
12:00 – Meeting in the Springs Valley and setting out on a route through Ein Shokek and the Triple Pool—a beautiful water trail with natural pools, clear water, pleasant walking among green vegetation, and shaded areas.
15:00 – Tour at the summit of Mount Tabor—a spectacular viewpoint overlooking the Jezreel Valley and the Lower Galilee, with explanations about the area and the open landscape.
17:30 – Arrival at Alon Tavor Field School, room check-in and settling in.
19:00 – Sukkot holiday dinner.
20:30 – Lantern tour and night safari in the Beit Keshet Hills—a Galilean nighttime experience among open nature trails and the sounds of the night.
08:00 – Breakfast and collection of a packed lunch.
09:30 – Departure for a day of hiking in the renewed Tzalmon Stream and Ein Nun—a pleasant Galilean route combining flowing water, shady scenic spots, and opportunities to cool off in the springs.
17:00 – Return to the field school and time to rest.
19:00 – Dinner.
20:00 – ODT activity on the field school lawns—a fun evening of team games, bonding, challenges, and shared enjoyment for the whole family.
08:00–09:00 – Breakfast.
09:00–10:00 – Route-planning consultation for the Galilee and Valleys region, provided by Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel guides—recommendations for additional hikes, springs, and nature sites in the area.
10:00 – Key return and room checkout.
Please note: payment for a room is required for a minimum of two adults.

Walking difficulty: Easy walking, suitable for the whole family. The routes are not suitable for strollers.

Required equipment: Closed, comfortable walking shoes suitable for walking in water, plus a spare pair; hat; 2 liters of water per person per day; sunscreen; personal equipment; backpack for carrying water

The activity will take place only if the minimum number of participants is reached. Notice will be provided up to one week before the activity.
