Rosh Hashanah in the Galilee invites you to start the new year differently—in the open air, among springs, green Galilee landscapes, and a relaxed holiday atmosphere in the heart of nature.
A combination of hikes, water, Galilee sunsets, and holiday meals in a quiet and special atmosphere. Three days of a holiday experience in nature, with quality family time and open views that truly create a new beginning.
Friday | September 11, 2026
Starting the year among springs and Galilee landscapes
- 12:00 – Meeting in the Springs Valley and setting out on a route through Ein Shokek and the Triple Pool, a pleasant water trail among natural pools, streamside trees, and clear water.
- 15:00 – Tour at the summit of Mount Tabor, with an impressive view of the Jezreel Valley and Lower Galilee.
- 17:00 – Arrival at Alon Tavor Field School, room check-in and settling in.
- 18:30 – Kabbalat Shabbat and holiday service overlooking the Galilee landscapes.
- 19:30–20:30 – Rosh Hashanah holiday dinner.
Saturday | September 12, 2026
A day of nature and water in the Galilee
- 08:00 – Breakfast and collection of a packed lunch.
- 09:30 – Departure for a day hike in the renovated Tzalmon Stream and Ein Nun, a Galilee route combining flowing water, green nature, and pleasant refreshment spots.
- 17:00 – Return to the field school and rest time.
- 19:00 – Second holiday dinner.
- 20:30 – Lantern tour and night safari in the Beit Keshet Hills, a nighttime experience in Galilee nature.
Sunday | September 13, 2026
Concluding the holiday in a Galilee atmosphere
- 08:00–09:00 – Breakfast.
- 11:00 – Room checkout and key return.
