We are starting the 2026–27 activity year on the right foot, amid the green landscapes of Mount Carmel!
We will begin the morning with a festive shared breakfast, with each participant bringing something small to share, along with a personal plate, cutlery, and reusable cup.
After breakfast, we will set out on a spectacular trail: descending along Nahal Alon, we will continue to the impressive, lush Alon Valley, where we will see a unique addition of ancient volcanic remains.
From there, we will continue to Nahal Oren, walking among impressive boulders and along the shaded trail through Mediterranean woodland trees, until we reach the enchanting water-collection pool at Ein Alon.
We will happily conclude this beautiful journey at Lake Parking Area.
Level 3 on our group’s scale.
This is a varied route, rich in nature, water, and green landscapes—an ideal opening shot for a year of hikes and adventures!
We will meet at the endpoint of the trail, at Lake Parking Area, and provide a shuttle to the starting point at Damon Junction.
The Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel reserves the right to cancel or change the activity בהתאם to weather, security, and safety conditions, and at its sole discretion.
